“Secret Weapon” transported by TEC

In 2024 WBSC Premier 12, Team Taiwan won the championship. The secret weapon behind the scene was the million-dollar smart pitching machine called “iPitch”. As long as the past data of the opponent’s pitcher is input into the machine, the real ball path can be simulated, as if the opponent is right in front of you.

However, transporting this high-tech equipment to Tokyo was not an easy task. After Team Taiwan advanced to final 4, TEC was nominated for this task. All jobs, including applying for ATA carnet, preparing invoice & packing list for them, shipping documents with chop & stamp, making a wooden box, processing export customs clearance, completing overnight customs inspection and examining etc. were requested to be done within 1 day. Eventually, “iPitch” arrived in Tokyo in time.

Team Taiwan started more efficient training at the Tokyo Dome to fully prepare for the upcoming game. As a result, sports combined with technology helped Team Taiwan successfully fight against Japan and win the championship.
